The Yag laser may also be used for leg veins.   Leg spider veins vanish with injections or an agent call Sotrodecol.   There is minimum discomfort with treatments and one may return to most usual activities afterwards.   Support stockings must be worn for two weeks after treatments for best results.   Usually more than one treatment is needed. Treatments may be 2 months apart.   There is significant bruising for 2-3 weeks after a treatment.
